About · The maker behind the atelier

I lead creative teams,
and I never stopped making.

Prompt Atelier is my studio. A place to build in the open — where motion, code and AI meet storytelling, and where I get to stay curious about the tools that are reshaping creative work.

The Short Version

Both sides of the work

I've spent fifteen-plus years in creative work — leading global teams for most of them — and I never handed off the making. My favourite place is the overlap: direction and strategy on one side; motion, code and AI production on the other.

I've made work for global brands, financial institutions, media and luxury clients — across design, film and video, animation and motion graphics, 3D and virtual production, generative art and AI-driven pipelines. The thread is the same everywhere: a clear story, made with care.

Why This Exists

Prompt Atelier, in my own words

I started Prompt Atelier to find out what one curious person can make when AI is treated as a craft, not a shortcut. Every episode is a build in the open — an AI-hosted video, a Pixar-style podcast produced from a spreadsheet, a paper-collage explainer, a real-time 3D landing page, a dozen hand-coded generative studies.

It's my way of sitting with a question I find genuinely interesting: how do you keep taste, rigour and originality when the tools make everything fast and everyone has the same ones? The atelier is where I work that out — no team, no budget, just the tools, the prompts, and the finishing. The name carries the belief: an atelier isn't where things are produced, it's where they're finished.

How I Work

Three things I bring to every build

01

The craft, first-hand

I still make the work — motion, design, code, AI production. Directing from inside the craft keeps me honest about what's hard, what's possible, and what's actually good.

02

Story & strategy

Every asset serves a story and a goal. I enjoy taking complex subjects and turning them into communication that's clear, human, and worth someone's attention.

03

Grace under constraints

Years in large, many-stakeholder organisations taught me how to ship ambitious creative inside real-world limits — deadlines, approvals, brand guardrails — without losing the spark.

The Disciplines

What I've spent years making

The atelier's episodes rotate through these on purpose — each one is a craft I've practised professionally, not a tool I picked up last month.

Design & brand

Art direction, identity, layout and design systems — from a single hero asset to a full brand world, built in code where it helps, and made to stay coherent long after launch.

Video & film

Concept to delivery, from pre to post production. Executive films, campaign spots, event screens and social-first series — trained in digital filmmaking at NYFA, sharpened on real deadlines.

Animation & motion graphics

The craft I've practised longest. Kinetic type, explainer systems, title sequences, brand motion languages — and the thousand small easing decisions that make movement feel considered rather than busy.

3D & virtual production

Real-time scenes, product visualisation and virtual cameras — trained in virtual production at the NFTS and 3D animation at CG Spectrum, and increasingly blended with AI-generated footage.

Creative code

Generative art, WebGL and Canvas, programmatic video with Remotion — when an idea needs an engine rather than an edit, I build the engine.

AI production

The newest discipline and the fastest-moving: image, video and voice models folded into real, repeatable pipelines — with taste, consistency and finishing as the quality gate.
